The location for Colchester was peaceful and particularly good, short walk to the pub. Moreover, it was just a short stroll away from Bannatyne Health Club & Spa. Well priced and incredibly comfortable room, everyone was very welcoming!

Colchester vibes 🌄
The brekkie essentials in the room were a lekker surprise, and the pub food? Absolutely tops! Jan and the team. Got stuck into some great chats at the bar. That shower? Flippin' great!
Honestly, the bed could've been a tad firmer for my liking.

clean rooms, properly cooked meals, good pub conversation
No hot water, freezing room without heating!!! Loud road noise disrupts sleep!!! Emergency contact details hidden, not easy to find!!! A little more attention to room comfort would improve the experience!!!

Fantastic pub grub and cozy vibes
We really dug the hearty portions at the pub, all fresh and tasty! The atmosphere was super chill with friendly vibes all around. The shower was a highlight, nice and powerful! Just wish the mattress had a bit more firmness for better sleep. Oh, and the bar area was a perfect spot for a nightcap.

The cosy atmosphere was upgraded with friendly pub staff who made dining a pleasure, with hearty, fresh dishes that satisfied our appetites completely. Clean accommodations provided everything we needed, although the bed could have used a firmer mattress for better support during the night. The shower was powerful and refreshing, but the room's heating was a bit lacking, and one night my sleep was disrupted by road noise.

The room was tidy and clean, and the price was reasonable. The pub served delicious home-cooked food, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast provided in the room was a pleasant surprise and was simple but tasty. the outside space was beautifully tranquil and provided a peaceful environment to relax in. this hotel offered good value for money and a pleasant atmosphere.
The mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, and the outside light kept coming on, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom felt a bit basic, and the road next to the hotel was quite loud when traffic passed by.
